Nook

Baby tracker for iPhone · Made by parents

The calm baby tracker.

Log a feed, a nap or a diaper with one hand, in one or two taps. Nook shows you what happened today and what’s typical for your baby’s age, so you can stop guessing and get back to sleep.

The whole day, one timeline

Not just naps.

Most baby apps are built around one thing. Nook keeps the whole day together: feeds by side, bottles, sleep, diapers, pumping and supplements, on one timeline you can read at a glance.

Made for the middle of the night

A screen that doesn’t light up the room.

Nook switches to a dim Night theme after dark: deep blues, soft amber, nothing bright. Everything you need at 3am is a thumb’s reach away.

  • One hand, one or two tapsBig targets for a parent holding a baby in the other arm.
  • Timers on your Lock ScreenA feed or nap keeps timing in a Live Activity, so you don’t have to open the app.
  • Undo, alwaysTapped the wrong thing half-asleep? One tap takes it back.

Today first, the week in plain words

A partner, not a judge.

Nook won’t grade your day. It shows what happened, and what’s typical for your baby’s age, in plain words.

  • What’s typical, with sourcesSleep and feeds sit next to typical ranges for your baby’s age, from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the AAP and the CDC.
  • Coming soon: gentle guidanceIf something looks low, Nook will point it out kindly and suggest what to keep an eye on.
  • Calm, not carelessNo scores, streaks or red alerts. Just clear information, so you can decide what your baby needs.

Your baby’s data is yours.

Today, everything you log stays on your iPhone, with nothing to sign up for. When partner sharing arrives, turning it on will be your choice. We don’t show ads or sell data. To make Nook faster, we’ll use anonymous usage data, like how many taps a log takes. Anything more will always be opt-in.

Why we built Nook

Why we built Nook

We’re Jorge and Victoria, an engineer and a designer, and parents. When our baby arrived, we tried the popular trackers. At 3am they were slow, bright and full of charts, and too often they made us feel like we were doing it wrong. So we built the tracker we wanted: one hand, one or two taps, and a calm answer to “how’s today going?”
